Hi Ladies,
wondering if you have some advice for a slightly older first timer - blessed with grey hair! - i normally visit the salon every five weeks to get the grey stripe addressed. I am worried about letting it go and looking unkempt at work but also worried about dyes in my first trimester. Had anyone had to deal with this, or have any advice for me?
Thanks so much -
Re: hair dye when pregnant?
I would be devastated if I couldn't dye my hair!!! These grays came out way too early for me- I'm not even 30!
I want nothing more than for this baby to be perfect and healthy, but also think about my emotional well being and how crappy I feel when it looks like this! - problem is, I'm also every 4/5 weeks. I'm thinking I'm going to stop cutting my hair to try to keep it from growing in do fast.
Do any of you know how long the vegetable dye lasts?
I also believe it's better to cover with foils with highlights normal application--is that true?
Did you go in your first trimester also?
My first appointment during my last pregnancy was soon after I got my BFP and I continued going through all trimesters. No issues here and I see other pregnant women in quite often. Definitely chat with your stylist and doctor if you have any concerns, I know that always helps me to put my mind at ease.

I dyed my hair last week when I found out. I also dyed my hair with my first and she is perfect.
I think its a personal preference. Hair dresses get KU and still do hair. They are around the chemicals for way longer than we are just getting our hair done. I also feel pregnancy can make you get a lil down on yourself that I can not look like a hot mess with my hair roots and grays coming in.

Soooo I chickened out! Just getting a hair cut tomorrow. Will look like an old lady a little longer.
