I had an ultrasound this week (32 weeks) and yesterday the office called to say that the heart is normal but the right side is slightly larger than the left and upon looking at my chart online it also says that the pulmonary artery is more prominent than the aorta. At all appointments, including the one after the ultrasound, the heart rate and beats have been normal. But they want me to come in for another ultrasound and meet with the maternal fetal specialist...
Of course I got a message minutes after the office closed for the weekend and because of the Massachusetts holiday on Monday, I probably won't likely be able to talk to someone until Tuesday.
This is my second child and I had nothing like this with my first.
Has anyone ever had this happen or know someone who has? Stress level is through the roof....
