Hi ladies,
I have been hit by the nausea train, and hit HARD. It started about four days ago, at 6w2d for me. It has been worse each day with a slight break yesterday. I haven't vomited but I am constantly on the brink. I'm constantly so nauseated 24/7 that I have to lay down and can't get anything done. Have been able to eat rice and toast but those sound less appealing each day. My question is for those of you who have been prescribed nausea meds for this kind of thing. What did you take, and did it give you much relief? I'm about to break down and call the doc as the thought of spending the next who-knows-how-many-weeks with the flu feeling sounds dreadful and makes me want to cry. Any input would be appreciated.
Re: Any experience with prescription nausea meds?
My doc prescribed Zofran and it really worked for me. I've been on it for 3 days now and am able to eat. Don't get me wrong, I'm still on the bland food train, but at least I'm eating and getting fluids!
