I am 36 weeks 3 days and have had the normal end of pregnancy stuff - lack of sleep, loose bowel movements, small bits of mucus plug coming out, Braxton hicks. Today I've had some consistent (but no pattern, not timeable) sharp pains that go from my abdomen to lower back. They last anywhere from a few seconds to about 30 seconds. They'll stop, come back sometimes the next hour, or I'll have two to three real close together. There seems to be no pattern to them, but they've been all day.
Maybe second time moms could help...is this baby's head just pressing down on my cervix or sciatica, or could this be a sign of early labor?
Thank you!
