belly button piercing after taken out...

I had my belly button pierced for over ten years. I'm 17 weeks 2 days and about 3 weeks ago I took out my ring. But now the skin between the two holes is red and bothering me a little. I'm sure its a cross between my belly stretching and the hole trying to close up. Should I use some bacetracin or neosporin or something?

    I'd flush the hole with saline or bactine and follow it with ointment just to keep it from getting infected. I hope it feels better soon!

    I took my piercing out several years ago. Since my tummy has started to grow, it has turned red.but other than that I haven't had any issues. I'm sure keeping it clean will help.

    I'm 20 weeks and I had to take mine out a couple days ago after having it for 12 years as I've been catching it on everything and turned red and itchy. I cleaned mine with peroxide and now I'm going to start putting lotion on every night. It doesn't hurt or itch today, but it's still red. I'm hoping that's just from the skin stretching.

    I would hit it with some hydrogen peroxide, dry it off, and then apply neosporin.
