So I had my beautiful little girl a little over 2 weeks ago. I love being her mom but I'm now bored sitting at home... My house is clean so idk what else to do. What did you do to fight the boredom?
Check for any kind of free activities in your area, or inexpensive ones when the babe's a bit older. Besides those drop in ones to chat with new parents, baby massage classes seem to be common too. Lots of walks too, the weather's finally turning for the better! Read your favourite book or magazine - even out loud if the baby's snuggled with you - not like she'll understand it anyway, but she's still getting the language development. Depending on how much time you have off for your leave, do some extra cooking/freezer meals if you know you'll be heading back to work.
I had my baby at the end of February and after two weeks, we were out and about. At first we just took short trips to target or the mall and after I was feeling better, we'd walk laps around the mall each day. I also joined a breastfeeding group and go every Monday at noon. It's nice to have something in the calendar to have to go to each week. Now that it's nice, we are constantly outside for walks or meeting friends for lunch, etc.
I have a 3 days old, i only wish she'll have me bored in 2 weeks! Lol i hope your baby stays calm, are you into reading? Maybe pick up some new titles or catch up on your tv shows, that's what i would do if i had the time
