Due Date Buddies 04.19.15?

Hey there! I just wanted to see if I had any due date buddies for this Sunday 04.19.15. I had my 39 week check up today and I'm 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I'm really praying I go around my due date, but if not we are going to discuss the options on Monday at my next appt. I've tried self inducing with nipple stimulation, walking, pineapple juice, and sex of course;) but the only thing that seemed to bring on anything was walking and sex with my fiancé (TMI I apologize). How is everyone else feeling as their due date approaches? Best of luck! Fingers Crossed!

Hello! I am also due on the 19th and also only 1 cm dilated and they said that my cervix hasn't really softened much. I have been trying to do some physical activity, walking and raking the yard, but it seems to just leave me sore and tired without helping to move things along.

Everyone keeps telling me to be patient and that he will come when he's ready, but I really don't want to have to be induced, I have heard that you are more likely to require a C-Section if you are induced.

Hopefully our little ones will decide to come on their own and soon! Good luck to you!

I am also due Sun! I am 2cm and 50% effaced. I had some crazy false labor in the middle of the night last night, but still no baby. This weekend's plans include sex, walking and eating labor cookies! I went into labor with my first after eating about 5 of them - you can find the recipe online!!

Same exact boat ! Due Sunday 1.5 cm and 50%. Appointment Monday to discuss. I feel good during the day but the nights are horrible. My hips burn and I can't sleep! I had contractions on Sunday but they went away

I'm also due on the 19th! At my appointment last week I was a fingertip dilated, but "very thinned out". Next appointment is tomorrow. Hoping for some dilation!

Due Monday the 20th! My doc doesn't do vagnial checks or hasn't yet at least so I have no clue if I'm even close! Feeling very anxious tho! Lots of walking and sex lately! Hopefully he'll come sometime soon!! Good luck to you

I am also due on the 19th! I've been 1cm for a week now but he's fully engaged which has me a little concerned labor won't progress

Have had BH most of my pregnancy and preterm labor scares and now it's been two weeks without any contractions at all. Lots of pain in my lower back and abdomen though and bouncin on my birth ball seems to be the only thing that helps. Hoping something changes soon!!

Hi there! I am due on the 26th, but I am already 1.5 cm dilated and 80 % effaced. I hope this means he is coming soon! Wednesday night I had terrible contractions and back pain I seriously thought that was it. My contractions never got closer together than 6min. This lasted from 730pm until I fell asleep around midnight waking up every so often. My doctor said they needed to be less than 5min apart lasting over a 1min (mine were) and for over an hour. Now I feel no pain. It's like he changed his mind

So good to hear about others being in the same boat!
I'm the 22nd but I've been having contractions in and off for a couple weeks.

I really thought baby boy was coming yesterday then my man and I started arguing and everything stopped. I'm so emotional and frustrated. Anytime I'm having contractions he wants me to go in the bedroom and lay down....grrr
He should have listened about the child birth education class I took with my GF,my coach. Instead he just wants to ignore it all and keeps making stupid comments like "just spit him out"......

Yes! I'm a 19th buddy!

I am lucky in that I am feeling great. Really normal, really happy- no problems *yet* *knock on wood*

I'm seeing my OB this afternoon so we'll see what they say. I have not had ANY signs yet at all of labour coming and I have to admit I haven't tried anything to purposefully try to get labour going. I've gone for some long walks but just because my husband and I felt like a long walk- it wasn't to try to induce. I don't feel a huge rush to have her yet- she's not even late yet! But part of me gets nervous as she gets bigger and bigger and part of me feels a bit of pressure from others who have been waiting for her as if she's late. But I'm like, she isn't even late at all yet! It's not her due date until Sunday so she could still arrive EARLY!

I'm glad she didn't arrive yesterday because it was my brother's birthday and for some reason I cared about that. LOL. I know it doesn't matter but he's not very nice and I didn't want them to share a birthday.

Just trying to get lots of rest and drink lots of water and enjoy some quiet relaxing time. I feel like she has a day she's destined to arrive and I have no control over that. Can't wait to see updates from you guys.

It's very fustrating. .. the anticipation. I'm 4 cm and 60% effaced however u been like this for the past 2 weeks.
So I'm just waiting.

I was due on the 19th but had to be induced early due to complications. I had a healthy baby boy on April 11th. Good luck ladies!

Not me! Still hanging out....waiting.....

I'm having zero interesting things going on that I can point to and be like "Well Im not in labour BUT I am having...." I just feel normal. She moves a lot. *shrug* I have an OB appointment on Thursday afternoon and I just hope that I don't need to keep that appointment!

My update: well as you know ladies our due date passed & today we went to the doctor & due to a mid high BP they want me to come in tonight and start inducing me in the morning! I'm so excited & relieved but definitely a little nervous! I'll be a FTM to a beautiful baby girl by Tomorrow night! Best of luck to everyone! I'll update with a pic as soon as I can!

Just back from the Dr. She stripped my membranes since i was 2 cm and 70% thinned out. She also checked his size and fluids. Fluids were fine but he's measuring 9 lbs! She stressed that those measurements can be off sometimes. I made an appointment to be induced next Monday but I'm hoping he arrives sooner on his own. Good luck to you ladies !

Still waiting here.. I had a doctor's appointment today and she said I was 2cm and 50%, she seemed pretty happy that I had progressed to that because I was stuck at 1cm and 30% or less for a few weeks. She stripped my membranes and I have been having some cramping and a little bleeding since then, so I am hoping that things are moving along. If little man does not come before then I will go in Monday night to have a ripening agent put in and then be induced Tuesday morning (really hoping he decides to come on his own).
