Upper abdominal pain

i was in the hospital this weekend after being woken up by really bad upper abdominal pain that didn't go away. (I've had it before but just thought it was indigestion or something and it always went away after 30 mins to an hour) but it went on and on and by 10 am I called in to OB and they suggested I came in. My blood work was fine , urine test was fine and baby looked good on the monitor tried a few stomach remedies thinking it might be an ulcer. Nothing helped, not even pain meds they gave me . They were going to do a CT scan but I started feeling a little better on Sunday morning. And didn't want to risk exposing the baby to anything unnecessary when there was a possibility that it wouldn't show anything anyways. I was allowed to go home and I rested. Monday I was better. Now today the pain is back. Anyone have this happen?

(I had my gallbladder out December 2012 so it's not that)

    Could it be just a bad heart burn or gas? I know your stomach ends up at the top and your uterus gets bigger, and sometimes when i'm gassy i feel pain so intense i think it's labour lol

    Try to see if what you eat effects the pain levels in any way. If it's not that and the pain persists just go ahead with the CT , babies are tough, they can survive a 1 time thing :) good luck!
