Morning sickness

oh no! I had a really rough 1st trimester with my morning sickness being an all day everyday thing. I was so happy the day it ended. But now at 33 weeks I'm feeling sick just after I eat breakfast. I ask my Doctor and he said it was normal. Is anyone else having a little morning sickness this far along?

Re: Morning sickness

  • I am not (and fingers crossed it stays that way) but I know a couple of other women who went through the same thing.

  • Yep! I've had it the whole time (although not every day). I still have to eat immediately upon waking, or I'll puke. And sometimes it just happens randomly throughout the day. Wahh!!
  • Yes :(. I only got a few weeks of a break. I still take zofran daily. Even as I write this I'm laying in bed trying to get rid of this stomach ache. Bleh.
  • I've been having the hole pregnancy I still take pills for that
  • Yes! It was like a clock went off when i hit my third trimester because i have been having "all day sickness" for a few weeks now...and its tough bc i am starving!!! Good luck to u ladies ! I hope it goes away but i have a feeling mine is here to stay!
  • Yes! I thought I was finally free of it at 25 or so weeks then this week (32) it came back. Thankfully I'm not throwing up but this nausea is killing me!
  • Yup sick again. Weeks 17-30 were great. Other than that Morning sickness!

  • I have had a return of nausea but no actual vomiting. I've found out that it's actually intense hunger pains! If I don't eat like every 3 hours I feel sick. Including overnight, I get woken up by my own stomach at like 4 am despite eating right before I go to bed!
  • I am so sorry your morning sickness came back. I was so sick up until 20 weeks. I'm praying it doesn't return. I have my Zofran always with me though! I hope it goes away for all of you!! <hugs>

This is similar to what I have. I am nauseas all the time. I think it is low blood sugar. The only thing that helps is a constant small stream of sugar, either soda/gatorade or candy. Fruit and healthy stuff doesn't seem to help. My blood sugar was really low after the GD test. Doctor was okay with the extra sugar intake for me if it works as long as the other food I'm eating is healthy. Wish there was a other solution but it is working.

My blood sugar was really low at the GD test too. So yeah my body is constantly like "feed me"! I ate popcorn at 4 pm, then stopped at Dunkin Donuts On the way home from work to get two munchkins to tide me over until dinner! Nom nom nom!
  • Yes, I had a brief let up but it never totally went away. Taking zofran almost daily. I have to eat all the time too. Still not as bad as it was!
