I usually will test when I first wake up, then limit my water intake for a couple hours at the end of my work day and test when I get home. I'm just not keen on the idea of doing tests while I'm at work.
I won't lie, I tested at work twice this cycle. I just too my purse with me. But I was using the actual "pee on the stick" kind this round and not the wondfos or others that require you to actually pee in a cup. If I had to do that I'd probably refrain. We also have a "privacy" bathroom on my floor so you can go in there for a few minutes and you don't have to worry about people hearing you open the package or sit in there for a few minutes.
I don't test at work. I test right when I wake up and right after I put my son to bed. But I don't think you have to test twice a day as long as you test at the same time everyday, you should catch your surge.

I have tested at work. I bring a Dixie cup and throw in away. I put the test back in the envelope and bring it back to my desk. This timekeeping, I'm going to test in the morning and when I get home.

Not necessarily. Some women have a very short surge (12 hours or less) and so for them, testing once every 24 hours may not actually catch their surge.
OP, I don't use OPKs, but I know plenty of women who do test at work either with the kind of OPKs you can pee directly on or with by using a little disposable cup. Heck, I even know women who have perfected a method for peeing in the OPK wrapper and using that.
I tried testing at work with the sticks you pee on for a couple days but I got weirded out when other people came in to the bathroom and I was just chilling in my stall waiting for the results :-/
I would put them back in my purse afterward so no one would find them in the trash. I forgot one was in there for a couple days. My hubs went in my purse for something and found it and said "ummm... Is there something you aren't telling me?" Even though it was a neg OPK there was still a double line and he thought it was a BFP!! Oops lol
I don't test at work because I work with kids and (some) adults who have the manners of kids, and everyone would make a big deal of the cup and test strip. Last month I never got a positive, but January, February, and this month I did just fine by testing FMU and late afternoon 4/4:30 when I got home from work.
I test at work but I work in an office with a few women who are just as excited as I am. They don't mind and it doesn't bother me at all. My fertility doc said between 10-2 everyday after cycle day 10 so I have no choice if I want to follow his recommendation. This is my first cycle and yet to get the double lines. But I am only done it a few days. It may get old having a cheer squad everyday.
I test at work every day. I test at 11am and 5:30pm (both with no liquids for the 2 hours prior). I manage a hotel and it is mostly ladies here. Nobody has even batted an eyelash at me walking through housekeeping holding it. LOL
I guess it really depends on the nature of your work. For me I work 10 hour days :P so it is what works best for me

Ever since I read that, I haven't been able to look at the little Wondfo envelope the same. If I don't get a +OPK this cycle I might just have to try this. I'm currently testing with FMU then when I get home around 5 or 5:30pm. The 5 minutes of just sitting in the stall would still be awkward, but at least I wouldn't have to carry in a plastic cup!
