Pain in lower left side

For the past hour I've been experiencing pain near my left overy. It throbs for a few seconds and then goes away about once per min. Has anyone experienced this? I tried googling it, but didn't find much and it's too late to call my doctor so just wondering.

    By all means, call your doctor if you're nervous, but it honestly just sounds like round ligament pain (RLP). I felt the same thing super early in my pregnancy and got nervous and went to the ER to be told the same thing. Now that I've felt it more throughout my pregnancy, I recognize it as RLP. Try to relax/breathe, and don't panic. I was told not to worry unless the pain becomes severe, or its accompanied by cramps or bleeding. ♡
