Teething Cold

My DS is almost 4 months and I believe he's been teething for a couple of weeks. Tons of drool, sucking his hands, red cheeks with rash, fussy, etc. Well this morning he also woke up with a runny nose (clear) and watery eyes. We are out of town so can't take him to see the pedi but just curious if the runny nose/watery eyes happened to anyone else with teeth? If he starts to run a fever I think I'll take him to a local clinic but in the mean time what do y'all know about teething colds?

    As long as the fever is below 101.6 if I recall when my son was teething, all you need to do is give DS medicine to keep the fever down.  If it gets above 101.6 then take DS to see a doctor especially when teething since low grade fevers are one of the side effects of teething.
