I used the boppy. The Brest Friend seemed too complicated for me. I used my friend's MBF when we visited them. I loved the boppy. I cried when I forgot to bring it to my parents when we visited and my baby was 5 weeks old.
It's firmer than the boppy and doesn't have all the straps of the brest friend. It has a soft side and a firm side which I love. It also has a vibrating insert that you can take out for washing. I used it for breast feeding in the beginning but used it more for letting baby sit in and being propped up on for tummy time. (I hate when their face is in the floor when they don't have all the head control yet) DS loved to be propped up and look around and just chill.
The only drawback is that it's a little tight to go around you but was ok.
They also have a new toy attachment to make it kinda like a baby gym that I think we'll get for this baby.

I have never heard of the Mombo before but this sounds great. I bought a Boppy, but will keep the Mombo in mind
I have both and there's one upstairs and one downstairs (highly recommend having one of each or two if you have multiple levels). I liked the Brest friend for when he was teeny tiny as it was a more solid surface for him to lie on while nursing but as he grew and gained neck strength I preferred the boppy.
I have the MBF and loved it! Especially right at the beginning because it has raised areas which put the baby exactly in the right position and it also supports your back. I was never able to get the right position with the boppy. The boppy is good for tummy time but didn't work for breastfeeding for me.
Thanks for the feedback ladies. @daniellelea1985 I will look up the mombo @jesicabrennan I like the idea of one up and one downstairs... I'll register for both, perhaps, and see what happens
I didn't use anything with my first. We were all just fine. But I went ahead and bought a Boppy for my second. We used it all the time. It's a good buy. What we used it for most was just laying baby in it when we couldn't hold him. With your first, you find yourself always able to hold, but when two comes along, your hands are busy sometimes!
Breastfriend!! I had a boppy in the beginning, but then I discovered the Breastfriend and it was a game changer. I felt like baby was more secure and I wasn't constantly adjusting it to keep baby in place.

I completely agree. My Brest Friend was so much better when DD was a newborn. She wouldn't roll off of it and it was so much sturdier. I switched to the Boppy around 8 weeks and made sure to have one on both levels (and my parents house because we visit often).
Its funny, I hated all nursing pillows. I found that for some reason I was just better off holding her. I have a boppy this time around but I'm not convinced. I am not terribly well endowed and I found that the pillows didn't allow for DD to reach me well enough. Dunno... I think I'm in the minority on this!!!
I saw Boppy makes a firm/soft double sided pillow now. I had the traditional and loved it. My husband used it when he gave bottles, I used it for breastfeeding, and our sun used it for naps, tummy time, and more! I would advise getting one to two extra covers. No experience with other nursing pillows.
Re: STMs: boppy pillow or my brest friend pillow for nursing

I preferred the my best friend when he was younger, but really didn't need both.
