39 weeks and a day, bleeding.

First off I was checked today at the doctors and I figure some bleeding, but for the whole day it's just still coming not like gushing. But my pads have spotting on the every thirty minutes to a hour, any advice?

    I would call the doctor, but every time I have been checked my doctor says to expect spotting for the following day. So it may be perfectly normal.

    I had this happen with my last pregnancy after I got checked in L&D for what I thought was possibly amniotic fluid leaking. My Doctor wasnt concerned and just told me I could go into labor anytime. I had to wear a pad the last days of pregnancy. It's likely your cervix got irritated and it started causing your cervix to ripen and capillaries to burst while it thins out and dialate.

    I'm 39 weeks today also. I got checked yesterday. I've just had a little spotting. But honey I've had to wear a panty liner for over a month...I have discharge and if I cough or laugh or brush my teeth I sniss a little.
    I think you are closer to being ready than I am. I'm wondering if your doctor actually separated your membranes?
