Symptoms: swollen legs and feet...walking is a challenge as my pelvic bone is very sore.
Appointment AW: Thursday OB, NST and biophysical
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: does anyone else's belly button area hurt?
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive? So much to do...just got the second crib and dresser so I can finish organizing the nursery. My DH is almost done with our basement remodel. Cleaning lady comes Friday which will make me feel much better.
Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): di/di boys
Symptoms: Tired. Zero energy after 5pm, but still trouble sleeping. Backaches, hip pain.
Appointment AW: NST on Saturday, last growth U/S on Monday. Hoping boys are in good position for a natural delivery.
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Still deciding on circumsion or not. Hoping to avoid a C section.
When did you pack your hospital bag? I'm thinking about this weekend.
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive? Contractor getting some work done on house next week. Nursery is getting close, but still work to do! Plus, need to get bassinet set in our room. Still have some thank you notes to write from shower.

Symptoms: swollen feet and hands.. Achy hands.. Hip pain when sleeping.. Braxton hicks at night that wake me up
Appointment AW: OB yesterday. Swelling is ok BP and urine look good so no concern of pre e.. Dr thinks the babies are close to 6 lbs! NST and fluid check on Friday
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: think I have decided to just have a c section. I really don't want to end up with a double whammy... Plus after this long and difficult pregnancy I just want them here safely! Anyone having issues going to the bathroom? I have so much pressure on my colon it feels like I am constipated and when I do go it's extremely difficult however it ends up being soft.. Strange!
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive?... Luckily my mom is retired and helping with house work.. I'm pretty Much stuck in a recliner with my feet up all day or I will BLOW up! Just overall trying to keep the house clean!

Symptoms: Starting to feel carpal tunnel like pain in hands, BH all the time, pain in groin and hips, overall discomfort, swelling.
Appointment AW: Last week the doctor said that the twins are measuring differently for the first time in pregnancy. Boy was 3 lbs 4 oz and girl was 2 lbs 13 oz. So they are sending me back to the specialist, which is frustrating because they are an hour away! I am not looking forward to traveling! Wish I had someone to go with me but my DH and family all work :-(
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Random question- My doctors haven't said anything and I've never asked, but are we allowed to continue normal sex life towards the end of twin pregnancy? After orgasm my belly tightens up and it always freaks me out because I'm scared to accidentally cause early labor.
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive? I still have to put everything away from the baby showers, write thank you notes, and clean house thoroughly...goal is to clean one room a day at my house, but not feeling motivated to do any physical activity.
@sarahgracewedding. ..I know that semen can bring on contractions. I had sex all the way to the end with my DD. I was 41 wks when I had her and I have to admit I had 2 glasses of wine, some spicy paella and good sex the night I went into labor.

Symptoms: Oh the woes of carpal tunnel - my hands hurt so bad at night. Swelling has been ok, but I spend a lot of time on couch. Hip pain and tingling down thigh continues, as do sleep disturbances.
Appointment AW: US and doc appt tomorrow
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Something good = restless legs have mostly resolved
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive? A few decorative items needed in nursery. Contractor is just starting our garage conversion to office, so that project will be cutting it close to delivery date.

Symptoms: I move very slow, sleep is tough with hip pain, so much cramping
Appointment AW: I had a fetal assessment yesterday. Babies are doing great, they are measuring 7lbs 11oz and 7lbs 4oz already. Crazy!
We were talking about possible induction but have held off. My bp was much better and there's only a small amount of protein in my urine. I go for an Nst and blood pressure panel tomorrow.
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns:
I had a little cry yesterday which was probably much overdue. In talking about the induction my Dr said she would induce using oxytocin oppose to to a prostaglandin because there is more control and less risk of hyper stimulating the labor creating an emergency situation. I'm glad she's thinking about that but oxytocin induction brings back memories from DS' birth and although it wasn't a traumatic birth I really didn't want to do oxytocin again. I felt like labor was done to me instead of something my body was guiding. I just need to process this and I keep hoping natural labor starts before we get there. We aren't talking dates yet so there is time. I may try some things to help out at home.
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive?
Everything is ready for babies but my DS has figured out how to open the deadbolt on our front door so we need to get a child lock thing. All I need is to have figured out how to latch two babes bfeeding and have my two year old take off out the door!!!!

Symptoms: extremely swollen feet/ankles and hands, BH, heartburn, hip, pelvic and low back pain
Appointment AW: nst yesterday and ob checkup went fine, growth on Monday. Just monitoring in case of Pre-e.
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: struggling to drink enough water! Trying to get 4 to 5 liters down a day but sometimes that doesn't feel like enough! C section scheduled for 37 and 2 days. Hope we make it that long! Also, my maternity clothes don't really fit anymore, debating buying a thing or two which seems silly for 3 weeks...
GTKY: What are your last minute preps you are working on before they arrive? Nursery is done- need to find someone to clean my house! A few more thank you notes, trying to get together with friends and spend time with hubby when he is not working. Also- I need a haircut and pedicure- lol!
