Is it true your second one comes earlier than first?

My first son was born 5 days early, I'm now 38+4 weeks pregnant. Hoping he will come early as well.

Nope.... I had my first at 38w3d, second I induced at 39 weeks, and I'm still pregnant now with my third and will be 40 weeks tomorrow... They have their own agenda and will come when they are ready... They could care less what their siblings did!

3. 37w2d - water broke
4. currently 38w 5d and no signs of imminent labor.

Both of my babies were born at 40w3d. My SIL's pregnancies kept getting longer, she had her first at 38 1/2 , her second at 39w and her third at 41w! On the up side though, the pushing phase is almost always easier the second time!

Had to read but really hoping my 3rd comes at least on time.
1st- 40w
2nd- 38w
3rd- 37.4 and counting...???

Not true for me either. I had convinced myself #2 would be early bc my first was born 39w5d, but this guy was 40w1d. Which is nothing, but I thought I was going to go crazy!!!

My doc said its the way it usually goes, but my second was one day closer to my due date than my first. I thought for sure chasing around a toddler pulse caused the opposite, but it didn't. Also, my pastor's wife had three and each got closer to her EDD.
