Has anyone ever had a positive clear blue test & a negative at the Drs?

Me & my hubby have been trying to conceive & I missed my period April 8th ! I took a test then & it was negative so I waited a couple more days ... Thursday night I spotted so I thought my period was coming & next morning i had nothing at all so I took at clear blue test & came out positive 1-2 weeks ... I went to the Drs on Monday & the test came out negative ... Has this ever happened to anyone ? I'm so confused I had never gotten a positive test before ..

    From what I understand a blood test will be positive before a urine test.

    I have never had a positive at home test followed by a negative test at the doctors office, but with my first I had 5 negative urine test (all the way up to 12 weeks) before I finally insisted they do a blood test. If the hormone is low the urine test will not show positive, but a blood test shows positive immediately. So, I would recommend asking for a blood test.
    Also, like someone else said the month board you should join is the month you are due in. Everyone on that board will be dealing with the same issues, so it will be more helpful.
