Wondfo opk test question....

So I took a wondfo opk today and after 5 minutes it looked positive. I looked at it again a couple hours later and the test line now looks lighter than control line slightly. Have any of you had this happen? I should still consider it positive since you aren't supposed to read test after so long right?

Re: Wondfo opk test question....

  • It's against TOU to post pix of sticks. And thanks for letting me know I'm finished eating my lunch.
  • Loading the player...
  • Firstly - please don't post pee sticks

And read any test within the time frame mentioned on the pack,

As already said its against guidelines to post pee sticks, please change your avatar.
  • Any result you get after the recommended timeline for reading the test is not valid. Go with the result you got in the first five minutes.
  • Sorry, didn't know. I'm trying to figure out how to delete post.

It happens.  I don't think you can delete posts on here, though.

That's okay, you don't need to delete, we are just informing you,

Imagine situation in reverse, some stranger posting pee sticks to you, many sites are okay with it, but Tb doesn't allow.
  • I deleted pictures. As for my profile pic I changed that as well. That was a positive pt from March before my m/c. Had to go on desktop to change, it wouldn't let me on phone.

  • I am sorry for your loss,

Just a little advice here, opk's only detect a LH surge in the body, that's a hormone, it can even show the surge multiple times in a cycle,
So to confirm ovulation I would recommend temping and charting

Also download fertility friend, it's an app where u can feed in your temps moods cm details and it interprets your ovulation date.

Also do consider reading TCOYF, it's an eye opener.

Hope you get your bfp soon.
  • I didn't realize this site was so sensitive. I'm not showing my cm or underwear. Geesh! I will not post pics of sticks again. Sorry for all I offended. Including the person who could no longer eat her lunch. I mean really? Drama much? Honest mistake.

It's okay, you don't need to get defensive, just lurk more, you will know what they are saying.

I do not temp because I still breastfeed my 20 month old and get up multiple times at night with him. I was told my Temps would not be accurate due to that. The last time I used opk's they were pretty darn accurate cause I got pregnant. Unfortunately, as you know that bambino didn't stick. I understand what your saying though. It isn't 100%
  • I chose to join TB because it's respectful. I think that the sensitive remarks you might be referring to are regarding your mc, which I too am sorry for your loss. The great thing about TB is you will get a lot of information and you will get a ton of support when you need it. BTW your question was great minus the pics - and you can always say something like "I took pics of each stage, if anyone needs to see what I'm talking about to be able to answer my q!" That leaves the door open :)

I think she's reffering to the fact that just because an OPK is positive doesn't mean you will ovulate after with 100% certainty

You can still temp if you are breastfeeding. I have a 9.5 month old that is still EBF and I'm temping. I'm expecting crosshairs to show up tomorrow, actually, because the last 2 days my temps have been solidly higher. It's preferable to have a solid night's sleep, but 3 hours is plenty of time to get an accurate result as well. I'm assuming (and this may be wrong on my part to do) but at 20 months, even if you're still nursing in the night, it's not less than every 3 hours and there is still probably some consistency on when your first real morning feeding is. I would just keep your BBT next to the bed and quickly take your temp then before going to nurse your LO.
  • Got that now!

Ahhh sorry! I thought when you said that this "site" was so sensitive that you meant TB! I guess I misunderstood. Good luck with those OPKs !

  • Where can I read TOU rules?

Also, so I should consider my test positive then right?

I think you should consider it positive.

Fyi, I was able to chart while breastfeeding my first. You can see my charts in my siggy. All 4 of my 2013 charts were while breastfeeding and getting up at night and I could still see the shift. I'm about to chart again and my second is still up all the time. I'm sure it will work.
    My TTC History:

    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.
