Help! Chaffing hurts :/

Anyone have advice to get rid of chaffing pain? Or avoid it all together? I'm 34 weeks and baby is in the process of dropping (I think). I go on long walks almost everyday and the last few days I'm so uncomfortable by the end of them. I'm not opposed to panty liners at this point but I'd love a style that doesn't feel like a diaper...
Thank you!!

  • They have super lil panty liners I use kotex ones and they are really thin and small. Also a lil but of baby powder helps.

  • The panty liners I use I can't even tell they're there cuz they're super thin. I use the always brand, but I use the thong ones so I can still wear underwear that is comfortable for me
  • Very thin panty liners and snug sweat pants work for my walks

An anti chaffing cream? I've never tried it, but I have a friend who swears by it and suggested it in case I developed this problem... She said you can find it near the monistat type stuff in a drug store
Edited to add... I'm not sure of the brand, sorry...
  • Poise makes panty liners - very soft, and also the baby powder helps.  If there's already irritation, diaper cream works wonders.
  • Thank you much ladies. Headed to the store today to stock up!
  • Diaper rash cream ! @OP put on overnight too if your chaffed up from that day
  • I also used diaper rash cream. It was a miracle!
  • If its a moisture issue I would recommend the pad too. If it's a dry rubbing issue - I put tanning oil on my thighs when I wear a dress. My sister does this too & it works great.
  • Academy, Big 5, and other sporting goods stores have Anti-Chafing cream that works wonders, it should be next to the running gear....I bought it when I ran my last Marathon and it was a life saver!
