My son is 7 wks and I'm due to got back to work next week. Im breastfeeding, but I have been goving him bottles w breastmilk sobhe gets used to it, he fights w it nd eventually takes it. My husband works all day so he doesnt see him often but he will be watching thebaby on sundays nd he still hasnt been able to give him a battle he will not take it from. I'm getting very anxciouse to be going back to work and then knowing that the baby doesnt always like to take to bottle makes it harder... I just want to stay home w him

    My baby is picky about a bottle too. Thankfully I still have some time before I go back to work, but I worry when we leave him with our parents for a couple hours that he won't eat.

    My husband always tells me that if he misses a feeding he's going to be grumpy but he won't starve, and hopefully if he gets hungry enough he will drink the bottle. You know he will take it eventually, so just give it time.

    Have you both considered trying the Tommee Tippee bottles? They are shaped just like the breast so it's easier to help transition between breast and bottle without getting nipple confusion and they prevent colic. I use Tommee Tippee bottles with my daughter and she took to them with no issue and I think the shape of the nipple had a lot to do with it.

    My son took the munchkin LATCH bottles, they are also shaped like breast.
    I tried medela and avent but nothing until the latch bottle.. Got it at walmart
