My birth story

Well we went to the movies on Saturday night and when we got home I started getting a headache and just feeling strange. I took my blood pressure and it was very high, 190/140. I took a shower, drank lotsa water and laid down. I didn't feel any better and my blood pressure was still high and I was also contracting every 3-6 mins, so we came to the hospital. They started pumping me with meds, terbutaline, hydroxazine, and eventually mag sulfate, but it wasn't helping much. Micah wasn't tolerating the contractions, his heart rate kept dropping so they decided to do a c-section. He was born yesterday morning at 0940. At 30wks, 5days he weighed 2lbs, 13 oz and 15.5 inches. The neonatologist gave us report and he said he's doing amazing and he's a peach

Congratulations! I'm am the mom of a 27 weeker and a 33 week 4 day preemies... preclamsia is scary. Not sure is you went into labor yourself or got induced ? Best regards and wishing you and baby a smooth fast NICU visit!

I was having contractions so I guess I was in early labor. But had a c-section cause he had deceleration with each contraction. Thanks for the well wishes everybody! He's doing amazing....came off his breathing tube today and took in 2cc's of breast milk tonight. He progressing very well!
