TMI signs of labor

Okay so my entire pregnancy I have had no stomach or bowel problems... Not even really constipation. Then today, I lost my mucus plug.. And earlier tonight I had awful diarrhea and stomach pain. Like for an hour I was the most miserable I've been my entire pregnancy. I have really frequent Braxton hicks, but that's nothing unusual lately... Just wondering if any of you ladies had diarrhea, and was labor imminent like I'm reading?? If so, how long until you started having real contractions/water breaking?

Edit- I'm also 37 weeks

    Ftm so can't answer, but just want to say good luck in case it's very soon for you!

    I've been having some of the same symptoms as you but I've been feeling a lot of cramps today. Off and on tummy issues for the last 3 weeks though.

    Over the weekend I've had lots of back cramping and ctx about 20 minutes apart- but not by any means consistent. Also had ... Looser.... Bowels as well.

    I remember feeling like this in the 5 or so days prior to delivery with my first 2.

    Lost mucus plug last Thursday. Was 0cm at apt last wed and on Monday was 1cm, 50% effaced.

    My fluid levels are also constantly in flux, so they may induce me on Thursday at my regular apt.

    I'm 36w3d.
