Ways to naturally induce labor?

I was overdue with my daughter and tried nipple stimulation using my breast pump- went into labor that night (4 hours later) and had her the next morning. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are full term though. I know the end of pregnancy can be miserable but don't wish early labor- my 2nd was 3 weeks early and we spent a week in the NICU. Would have much rather been uncomfortable 3 more weeks than see him like that. Good luck!!!!

I tried everything last time - walking, sex, breast pump, spicy food, eggplant...you name it! I was desperate and went a week past due. Nothing did anything. You may just have to wait it out.

All the things listed are great for natural induction, but as my midwife stated at the last appointment. Membrane sweeps, sex, walking, none of it will do anything unless your body is ready to go into labor. You can try for weeks and it won't change anything if your body isn't ready.

We did nipple stimulation too in early labor and it was like I had total control of my labor. We could speed it up and slow it down. Crazy
