Water breaking???

I've been having some contractions that started today and I assumed were braxton hicks because they weren't painful, just uncomfortable..just now I went to the bathroom and then came back to the living room to watch tv. I then began to feel some wetness in my panties and when I checked, they were wet like I had peed but I know I didn't. I changed my panties and I'm waiting to see if it happens again. Do you think my water is breaking?? My water didn't break with my other two so I don't know what to think! I'm 36 weeks 3days today...

    Sounds gross but smell it. Does it smell like pee?

    I'd see if it happens again and give your doctor a call, especially if it happens again. If you call they can help tell you what to do or look for :)

    Might just be a pee leak. I had my water break last time and I got a little gush every time I stood up (it was really gross and annoying).

    Mine trickled and gushed like she said when I stood.

    Ok thanks! My Dr. Texted back and said it would probably be a gush...so I guess maybe it was nothing..

    Your doctor texts you? ... I can tell you personally that it does not always have to be a gush. I've been at the hospital for 5 days now with my membranes ruptured and its a high rupture so it's only a trickle. If you even have to question it why not just get checked?

    I'd put on a panty liner or put some tissue in there and see if it continues. I'd likely make sure to stay extra hydrated and get checked tomorrow regardless.

    Well my doctor is one of my best friends so I can text her..she said if it continues I can go see her in the morning..I think I will put on a pad just to be safe though..
