Some news...good and/or bad!

Have some weird happy/sad news.

I finally talked the nurse into bringing me in today. I had an ultrasound at 9:30 this morning.

The good, the gestational sac is in the uterus. It is not ectopic.

The bad, either I ovulated later in my cycle, which I totally think I did, the sac only measures at 5w3d..which would totally be on when I think I ovulated (which is good) but we only saw the sac. The worst news is that the sac is too close to my c-section incision. If the pregnancy progresses and moves closer to the incision, I could have my uterus burst. If the sac moves up into my uterus and things progress fine, then everything is fine. If it stays were it currently is, it sounds like we will have to abort the pregnancy. The risk to the baby and me is too great to carry to term. I have to go back for a blood draw Wednesday and Friday and I have a second opinion appointment on Monday.
