Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545  -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!

    @lynnbrown4  Did you have your baby??  Hope everything went well!


    I've been feeling a lot better this week (36w3d today), aside from a lot of the usual late-3rd tri discomforts.  I have a new found respect for those who work right up until their due date.  Not like my office job was arduous, but thank goodness I've been able to work from home now.  I'm still getting lots of cramping/BH contractions and feel her dropping, so I'm looking forward to my OB appointment Thursday to see how my cervix looks.

    QOTW: We had friends who were starting to date and met at a bar.  We hit it off right away, shared a couple of jager shots, and the rest is history.

    Feeling about the same here. It's getting hot so that is rough but other than that just swelling feet/hands. @gsancho wish i could stop working already. i just want to nest, nap and read...not sit up all day!

    we met in a bar, about 15 years when cigars were the big thing, in Miami! very swanky, we were both living there at the time. It's a cheesy story to tell especially because we are such homebodies! We hit it off right away and had dinner together the next night. fast friends, took it slow and talked a lot, then by the next week we were dating!

    32w2d today. Definitely feeling the stress of two babies now. My feet/hands have started swelling, hip pain at night, BH, tiredness- the usual. Going tomorrow for the growth scan and schedule the csection or induction. I can't believe we are all so close!!

    33 weeks, 1 day today. CRAZY nesting going on right now. Huge burst of energy over the weekend, and I am organizing, cleaning, re-arranging furniture, packing hospital bag, driving my DH NUTS! My boss is really worried for some reason I won't make it to my scheduled c-section date- I told her she is just jinxing me.

    My History:
    Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara
    Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010
    Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish
    Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel
    Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
    About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!
    1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.

    31 weeks, 6 days for me. We are really starting to set things up in the nursery and made an ikea run this past weekend. I have my family shower coming up this Saturday (about a 2 hr drive.. should be the last trip of the pregnancy) and I'm really excited about seeing everyone and celebrating this little guy!

    QOTW: we met in college before our senior year and started dating very soon after.

    @DMEL there will be many alma mater things for our baby too for sure!

    31 weeks tomorrow. Had our growth scan today and baby is doing good. Measuring like 90% for weight and height so I've got a big baby In there! I'm tall but small framed so I'm nervous about her exit strategy lol! So happy to see she is growing so well! I'm having really bad lower pelvic pain, made worse during movements like walking, climbing stairs, lifting or standing on one leg. Sounds like symphysis pubic dysfunction from what I've been reading....not fun! Nursery is furnished, just have to add wall art and curtains!

    Not much new after my OB appt...apparently my cervix is Ft. Knox so even with a lot of BH and digestive issues, she's unlikely to come out soon. But I am measuring 2 weeks ahead (likely b/c she's so big) so they're talking about inducing me on my due date (5/2) if she doesn't come early.

    35 weeks tomorrow (Friday) and I can't believe it! She has gotten so much bigger the past month and I feel like she is really running out of room. Work has been rough since I teach kindergarten and it's hard to sit for long. By noon, everything aches and it's hard to move much! Supposed to work up until my due date (May 15) but if I stay as active as I have been, maybe she will come earlier :)

    Consult with RE April 2012
    Diagnosis ~ unexplained infertility
    May 2012 IUI-BFN 
    April 2014- IVF consult with RE
    May 2014- baseline~21 follicles, High FSH and estradiol
    IVF #1 Aug 2014~Lupron trigger protocol (Gonal-F, Menopur, Cetrotide)
    Stimmed for 9 days, trigger on 8/20~ 32-36 follicles seen, 16 measured on each side
    ER~ 8/22 ~ 36 follicles retrieved! 21 Mature, 17 ISCI'd
    8/27~Day 5 transfer of 2 BB blasts, 1 to freeze
    9/9~ BFP!! Beta #1- 978
    9/11~ Beta #2- 1965
    9/15~ Beta #3-7480
    1st ultrasound 9/24

    @gsancho - I am guessing he will check me Monday for the first time at 37 weeks. I am nervous! Hope that things work out the way you want!


    I am 36w4d and feel like I am ready now. I almost dread sleeping at night because it's painful but I did have a good night last night! Feet and hands are staying swollen so I am having to take it a little easy in the afternoons!


    QOTW: We met in high school through a friend. Who would have guessed at 14 I would find him and it work out this way!
