Lazy lazy lazy

anyone else feel extremely lazy so you attempt to do something but just standing up takes every bit of energy you thought you had?

  • Conserve that energy you will need it soon enough!
  • Yes! There's so much to do but I'd rather be in bed. It's the only place I'm comfortable.
  • Yes and I think I'm starting to nest too, so I'll vacuum half of a room and then need a 30 minute nap.
  • So lazy glad it's not just me in exhausted
  • This was me most of the day. I really feel bad about it. There was so much for me to do today. We just moved into our new house Thursday. But all I did was lay around. I did not start unpacking again until about 4. I keep telling my self at least I cooked dinner. :-<
  • Yep! I was cleaning our room and had a to take multiple breaks because it was exhausting!
  • Yes! DH was poking fun at me for being obsessive about doing laundry and sterilizing bottles a few weeks ago but I am SO glad I did as I have no energy to do anything but sit on my butt right now.
  • I have been the same way most of the weekend. I made myself pull all the weeds in my flower beds though...which was so exhausting that now the house didn't get much done. I feel the need to nest but with 50hr work weeks there is just no energy during the week. I guess the house will have to wait till next weekend to be cleaned really well
  • I definitely set very low expectations for myself and don't feel guilty about napping. When I get one task done I feel so proud of myself! So pathetic haha

  • I feel better when I'm more "busy". Time goes faster, I sleep better at night and when I'm on my feet I do better than relaxing most of the day. I was on two week break doing nothing but relaxing (slept terrible both weeks waking up for hours in the middle of the night), and now one week back to work I felt much better after working. I am someone who loves to relax and do nothing, but for me the best thing has been being forced to be in a routine and stay busy on my feet with a bunch of high schoolers
  • Yes! I usually don't take naps or anything but lately I can't seem to get myself out of the bed!!
  • Yes! I just keep adding to my list of to-do's. Whenever I get a burst of energy I try to tackle something from the list. I definitely try not to overdo it, though. When I'm exhausted I take a nap or at least sit with my feet up for awhile.
  • I was never one for taking naps, now I take one almost daily. Even if it's only a half hour. I am a very clean person, so I vacuum everyday, mop everyday and make sure the dishes are in the dishwasher and that the laundry is caught up. These last couple weeks I've slow been slacking off.. I hate it. I get up and start to do something, 20 minutes later I'm back on the couch exhausted. Can't wait to get my drive back and not be so tired. Nesting can come back anytime! Lol this place needs cleaned. Lol
  • I'm 36+5 and nesting just hasn't set in yet, feeling guilty for not getting through the million things needed to prepare for this wee one but I'm just soooooooo tired!
  • Jealous of all of you that can be lazy. I work all day then chase around a 2 yearold after that. So exhausted!!!

  • I am in bed all day. I still wake up at nine with our 4 year old make him breakfast and clean up then its time to lay down and rest. Make lunch, clean up. Repeat. Make dinner. Get him ready for bed and help clean his toys for the day, then I go to bed. I keep up on laundry, well its folded clean in the laundry room at least. When I'm finished folding I can't find the energy to put it away. Its starting to get bad. Haha
  • Yep that's me
