ultrasound measured different than due date.

Hello,
I am having my first baby and it is a boy I had a ultrasound done when I just turned 24 weeks exactly. But when they did they did the ultrasound for my baby boy he was measured at 25 1/2 weeks. A week and a half ahead of where I am at. Does that mean that my baby is coming sooner than my due date or was my measurements from my past ultrasound done weird....

    Ultrasound measurements can be wildly inaccurate at times. It's hard to tell. They told me I was measuring small, and measuring behind my due date. Well baby arrived after his due date by almost a week and a half which seemed appropriate for him measuring behind and so on. Except when he was born they actually think he was further past due than his due date and he was anything but small!! 9.3lbs and 21 3/4 inches! Haha.

    Alls to say is.. Baby arrives when they arrive .. Mentally it's better to be prepared to go past your due date than to be expecting early. :)
