Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel
Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!

Hey! The NICU is a really tough place. Chloe is doing well overall but today is a rough day. She's 31 weeks (gestational) today so they gave her an eye exam and dilated her eyes. She hasn't been feeling well since. Lots of bradycardias and de-sats. Also, her bed was too warm so they moved her to a new incubator. Usually, I come to have hands-on time and stay for about 2 hours. It's been 4 now and I don't see home in my near future. Just so worried about her. Thanks for checking on us.

Chloe Mae is doing much better this weekend. She handled her 2nd eye exam on Thursday like a champ. But, she was diagnosed with a mild case of ROP. Scary stuff if left untreated. Doc said there's a 91% chance it will resolve on its own without needing surgery. Praying praying.
She gained weight and is only 2 ounces shy of 3 pounds! She started a new feeding regimen of a bolus of 24 ml of BM every 3 hrs and is tolerating it well. No Brady's or desats today! Best part is that doc wrote orders for Kangaroo Care DAILY. I'm so happy about being able to hold my sweet little girl every day. And finally, I bought her two tiny little caps to keep her wee noggin warm and they are almost too small. Maybe she will be able to start wearing clothes soon and bottle feeding ("nippling") then breast feeding in another 3 weeks or so.

VISION: Today Chloe had another eye exam and the dang ROP is now Stage 3 in her left eye but her right eye is still stage 2. Doc said that he wants to watch it for another week. If it gets worse, she'll have surgery immediately following the exam next Thursday. Ugh.
WEIGHT: She continues to gain weight and actually outgrew preemie clothes! But, she's only 4 lbs, 14 oz! Crazy, right? She's wearing the cutest newborn sized clothes but they are pretty big on her.
RESPIRATION: Breathing is better but on the nasal canula. Had a bad desat last week (I had to bag her myself with the emergency oxygen- nurse wasn't nearby) and they moved her back to acute and had to put the canula back on. But, she's on room air, so no added oxygen, just .5 liters of pressure to help her. Soon, they will remove the canula again!
DIGESTION: Chloe is still breastfeeding but not usually more than 2-3 times a day. Mostly bc I can only be there about 12 hours a day and also bc she gets really tired. But, she takes a bottle of BM really well most of the time. Still needs the feeding tube rarely and for meds.
Well, that's the update! Our June 9th due date is so close. I really hope she can come home then.
