Yesterday I was 4 weeks 5 days and I was very bloated. Wouldn't wear a tight shirt. Today I woke up and I swear I could see toned abs! I don't know why. I'm going to start my weekly photos tomorrow at 5 weeks.
At 5 weeks the uterus is still behind your pelvis bone so any "showing" is just bloating. Totally normal at the beginning of pregnancy but also explains why it would go down so quickly.
I've been bloated since before I found out and it's really noticeable because I normally have a completely flat belly. My jeans are feeling tight on the waist already.

This. Not to mention, baby is about the size of an Appleseed at 5 weeks. It's not baby. It's bloat.
Drink lots of water. Stay away from processed foods/foods high in sodium (really check those labels). Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies.
I have awful bloating at 4 weeks 3 days. I'm not small to start with but have had 4 exploratory laperotomies (they cut your torso open about 10 inches) in both directions so my abdominal muscles are completely destroyed. I'm going to be as big as a house by the time I can tell the world! Lol! At least your belly bloat looks cute! :-)
I am 6 weeks and 4 days and I am So bloated that my pants are uncomfortable. I would hate to have to buy maternity pants this early. I have kicked the sodas except for ginger ale. My Dr. Put me on Progesterone though since I MC's my first pregnancy. I think one of the side effects is bloating. Blah!
