Ice Water

Throughout my entire pregnancy I've only been able to drink water with massive amounts of ice cubes (I get nauseous without it). I go through about two trays of ice a day. Today I overheard a pregnant woman say that since her baby doesn't move a lot the doctor told her to drink ice cubes to stimulate the fetus. My baby moves like crazy! Have I been irritating her this entire time??? Has anyone else heard of this?
