  We do everything you said. We sing, I move his hands and legs around constantly (we'll sing YMCA and make him do the letters, lol). He loves his bouncy seat because it had toys for him to look at. He is fascinated by ceiling fans and windows. We go for walks if the weather is nice.
  
  He only enjoys each thing for a few minutes at a time and then I have to mix it up. And the book I have says he should only have 1-2 hours of wakefulness at a time before a nap at this age. I notice he does get very fussy around that timeline, so I'll rock him to sleep. But he's a cat napper, so usually awake again in 30-45 minutes in a good mood ready to play again.

  We do all those things too but I also give her time to just lay and kick on her own without any additional toys, music or anything from me. She just looks around the room contently Just like everything else, she likes it for a while and then is ready to play again. A bit of down time to let them look at their little world is nice I think!

  Yes. I feel like I do the same thing alllllll the time! I guess mixing it up with tummy time vs on my lap vs swing vs bouncer... I am very excited that the weather is starting to get warmer here in Michigan so that I can start going for walks outside! We went yesterday and she just looooved it!
