oh just you wait comments... Yea those. "Just you wait..." you lose your body and never get it back. Or, you never have time to yourself again. Or, other "martyr mommy" comments. Writing myself a letter to remind myself of all the things I hope NEVER to say or be as a mommy. I mean isn't life all about choice and perspective anyway? I don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait to (somewhat) sacrifice my youns fit body to replace it with (yes a still fit) but mature mothers body that produced a wonderful gift of a child! And I also hope to balance my time with baby so that I DO get some alone time. Anyone hear me?

I try to just turn them around. Instead of "just you wait" i tell myself "i cant wait until"! I cant wait until i have my sweet baby look into my eyes. I cant wait until i get to meet my perfect little one. I cant wait until he or she grabs my finger!
Who cares about things like your body changing, when you get so much in return

While my boobs will never be the perky perfection they once were and I Haven't had a full nights sleep in about 2 years, don't have my own bed and don't get to pee alone, it's a new normal. It's a new kind of fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world! By far the most amazing thing I've ever been a part of

Everyone is different, i love being a mommy and all of the changes it has brought to our lives. I am 31 and pregnant with our 4th baby. I think my body still looks great after 3 children, and so does my man. I get time to myself whenever i need it. My husband has no problem with me leaving the little ones with him or a relative and going to the spa or shopping or whatever i want. Plenty if times i disappear upstairs and take a long bubble bath and watch pretty woman.lol...my husband and i still go on date nights, kids are in bed at 8:30 so plenty of time for us to chill together in the evenings... if someone is used to going out partying until 3am on a friday then yes that would not be so easy to do on a regular basis, however thats not an interest of mine. My husband and myself would much rather spend a friday evening with the kids, having barbeques, going to the movie theatre, camping in the backyard, making home made pizza. Being a mommy is the best thing that has ever happened to me. My life is so full of love. Not everyone who has a child likes being a parent. I suggest surrounding yourself by positive (but honest) mommy's who love being a parent, embrace it, will encourage you.

The best part is the same people turn around and say how wonderful parenting is and how they miss having babies. So annoying.
