Contraction Question

I've been having contractions for a couple weeks now and they've gotten me to three cm, but haven't hurt. Just a little while ago, I started having contractions that hurt and at the same time my head starts to pound and hurt at about the same pain level. Is this normal? My contractions with my first pregnancy all hurt the same, so this is all weird to me. I don't want to go into the hospital for no reason and it's not like my water has broke or anything. I was told to go in if I got a major headache or anything like that but I'm in a high risk pregnancy for epilepsy so migraines kinda come with the territory.... Opinions please!!!!!

Definitely call or go in, they might want to check your blood pressure and see how baby is fairing with the contractions too.

I'm in the same boat (minus the headaches) and I figure I'll know because the contractions will be so painful I can't talk. I'd certainly check with your doc about the headaches though.
