hi ladies, not on here to be judged, just looking for support and advice. Have just found out I'm 6w pregnant, it was a complete surprise and not planned. I have cut back on the cigarettes by more than 50% in the week since I found out I'm pregnant. Does anyone have any ideas/tips/advice on how to stop smoking completely (ideally without me turning in to a complete physco, the hormones are doing a good enough job of that at the moment)??
Re: Support to quit smoking
Also find a accountability partner that is around you the majority of your day, that you tell your quitting. And tell yourself that you won't!
I was in your same boat with my first pregnancy. I worked with a bunch of women and told them of my pregnancy early. Then I felt as if I couldn't smoke at work, so I just dropped it! Hope that helps some!
Here for you! I know it's a toughie!!
Just a quick thought about pregnancy and saunas. Quoted from the online "What to Expect When You're Expecting":
"anything that raises your core body temperature to over 102 degrees is potentially hazardous to your baby-to-be, especially during the early months of pregnancy when his body and brain are developing"
