Weekend Plans?

Hi Ladies,

Anyone have any fun weekend plans? Let's share!

After being out of town last weekend followed by a busy work week, I am looking forward to some downtime. My DH will be traveling for work from Sat-Tue, so it's just me and my furbaby. Plans include cleaning our apartment; packing my hospital bag; washing some baby items; and getting my first prenatal massage. Can't wait. :-*

My mom is coming over to help me finish painting his room. Hubby likes to go very quickly in tasks so I wanted someone elses help to make sure it was a good job. Then we can finally get his crib set up and name hung on the wall. My dad is making our dresser and he is taking the week of the 20th off so we won't have that yet but I'm going to get his clothes washed and car seat washed so its good to go. Probably start packing my hospital bag too. 36 weeks on Sunday so I feel like I should get into gear.

You reminded me I still have a gift card for a massage to use. I need to schedule that dang thing!

This weekend is my shower!!! And we will be taking maternity pictures before that tomorrow!!! 34 weeks and we are slowly starting to get all the items we need. But Ill be so glad once we have all the necessities from the shower (Ive been stalking my registry! :-) )

I'm with the pp. My shower is tomorrow, I am stalking the registry, and I'm so excited to have everything we will get from friends and family so we can work on the gaps. I can't wait to get everything together since I have a strong feeling he's coming early. This will be a fun, exciting, and exhausting weekend but so worth it.

I'm having a friend from college visiting, which is motivation to unpack the remaining 15 boxes from our move. I plan to do absolutely no work this weekend, which hasn't happened in ages, so I'm quite excited!

My plans include: prepping the hospital bag, washing his clothes, covers on the car seat and pack and play, as well as installing our car seat. It should be fun, and we will be ready for him by the end of the weekend! I will be 37w tomorrow.

We were planning on going to the beach this weekend but changed our minds. I didn't feel like all of the packing and preparing just to come home and wash everything. I want my hospital bag packed and ready to go this weekend.

My husband will be clearing out the woods in our backyard to make room for a swingset for our son. I'll be inside finding something else to clean/organize. Were going on a date night too to my favorite Mexican place.

I have my maternity photos tomorrow then my 3yo daughter has a birthday party afterwards. Sunday we will probably do yard work. I already have the nursery set up and everything washed so I don't have much to do there. Although I really need to get our new guest bedroom set up so I'll probably tackle a bit of that too!

I plan on cleaning a bit more, and putting one last object together (her glyder). DH is off this weekend, but has to help his dad with something.. so who knows how long that'll take. I really want to go on a date night. I've been wanting one for a while, just haven't had the time, nor energy! I'm basically just preparing to welcome our daughter. That's my weekend

We haven't prepared for DD at all, so I'm looking forward to getting the bassinet out of storage, washing blankets and clothes, and making sure infant car seat is all ready to go. Will also be having some friends over for dinner.

The sun is finally supposed to come out here in New England this weekend and get warmer! Can't wait to actually go outside! :-P

Lots of errands on Saturday, including an appointment to check on the babe.

Sunday my friends are throwing me a shower. I know nothing about it except that it's Sunday, sometime in the afternoon and at one of my friend's houses. All other details have been left out....so that's fun!

My weekend is date night tonight with hubby and a couple friends. Then Saturday, cleaning every inch of my car so the car seat can be installed (3 weeks tomorrow, it's time) and hopefully making it to the parade my husband is marching in for work. And Sunday working and some more cleaning and prepping!!

Nap! I look forward to my weekend naps with my dog all week. And I'll do what PP's have mentioned - laundry, prep, organize, etc- but the naps are my favorite!

I have Army Reserve duty this weekend so I doubt I'll be doing anything baby related. We had a three day weekend starting today and by the time I got home my feet were super swollen from wearing boots all day.

Looking forward to next weekend when I'll be 34 weeks and setting up baby's things.

My DH went on a road trip with the guys to a city that's 4 hours away. I didn't want to go. But of course 2 hours after he left I had a random contraction that was big enough to worry me. Haven't had one since but I had to convince him not to turn the car around and come home.

Organizing and rearranging our bedroom so that the cradle will fit nicely. I'm so excited to have it out and up. My grandfather custom made one for each of us grandchildren to use for our babies. Kind of sad though that it will be the last time we will use it. Third baby will be via adoption so it's likely that we won't get a newborn.
So ya.. organizing, laundry, and maybe cook a freezer meal tomorrow after church.

We have a wedding today to go to, then tomorrow is our one year anniversary!!! We will spend it getting ready for our baby, washing clothes and packing hospital bags! And maybe going out to dinner to celebrate!

Running my boys around for soccer games and practice! I am enjoying watching my two enjoy the beginning of soccer because I may miss part of the end of their season. But watching four year olds play soccer is super cute and my 9 year old is very competitive this year which helps me be super into it with him!

Baby shower today! Which means I haven't sat still in two days trying to get the house ready for out of town visitors and others who will stop by after to see the house because we recently moved in. I'm seriously contemplating taking Monday off to relax and enjoy the 70 degree weather we're supposed to be getting.

Our nursery is not done yet... I'm making art pieces goes to wall.

Our bedroom and master bathroom is in remodeling under construction by my husband, so we are sleeping in nursery room now.
Plus my mom is coming after baby born, we have to build guest room bed! Need to go shopping for bedding and extra towels for her.
Aaaand go grocery shopping, prepare for working day. I have 3 more weekend to due date. Need to get stuffs done quickly!!!
