quiet uterus

Has anyone else been told that they don't have a quiet uterus? I went in for contractions and was told that my cervix wasnt dilated. They said my uterus just contracts on its own.

    I haven't heard the term "quiet uterus," but I have heard "irritable uterus" and i've certainly got that!

    I have to go to a high risk doctor for a fibroid and I brought up how I felt like I was getting braxton hicks but wasn't 100% sure as I'm a FTM. She said your uterus contracts throughout your entire pregnancy! I had no idea but I guess it makes sense. I never heard of that phrase though.

    Yea so apparently my uterus just contracts on its own. However, I'm not dilating. So I'm just on close observation and modified bedrest
