I might be in the minority here but I love when friends and family touch my belly. People warned me of how annoying this would be, but I find myself saying "Go ahead, you can touch it". I think some people are curious and others just express their love that way. Kind of like hugging the baby before they really can. Either way, I always smile whenever anyone wants to touch the bump.
Still no stranger touches so I'm not sure how I'd feel about that.
Feel free to share your thoughts on how you've been handling the belly rubs. Maybe I'm not the only one who feels this way?

Re: Belly touching
Something that happens to me QUITE OFTEN is I see people bringing their hands out to rub my belly so I cover it and turn (sometimes run away) and they will actually try to move my arms and hands to feel OR chase me down!
These aren't kids either, these are adults!! ..........It's terrifying

I will punch any fool who dares near my belly.....
I fcking hate that shit, don't touch....don't even LOOK at my belly. I cannot stress enough how much I hate it. It makes my skin crawl when people do it. I don't even like my arm touched. NO TOUCHY.
People have finally started to lay off my shit, for now anyway, because when they do it, I give them a titty twister. I never said you could touch my belly, just like you never said I could pinch your nipple.
Although I was taken aback the other day when it was a man friend that rubbed my belly. I didn't know what to do and I didn't have the heart to ball tap him, which was my first instinct....*sigh*
On the flip side, I don't feel comfortable touching someone else's belly, but I'm good with them touching mine. Wouldn't it be nice if I was consistent. I'll blame pregnancy
My mother, SIL and MIL sometimes get all close to my belly and talk to the baby or kiss my tummy, I think it's sweet

She's really excited and curious about it.
But adults can keep their hands off, especially ones that don't ask before attempting to touch me.
My friends 10 year old knows better than you!
I have to have 2 showers and I'm not looking forward to all the touching.
In a public washroom.
Which then turned into a party/debate over the sex of the baby between her and other ladies as more and more joined in.
I finally said "aww..okay then have a nice day guys" and slipped out.
