I know from Dr appt. last week that the baby is already engaged in my pelvis, ready to go. Well yesterday the pelvic pain went to a whole new level. By last night, I literally could not even walk, and I couldn't even lift my leg up an inch to take my pants off. My husband had to help me get undressed & into my pj's. And when I woke up to pee, I literally cried getting out of bed, and I have a pretty good tolerance for pain- even after my c-section, I only took Tylenol a couple of times. Today I am still feeling the pressure/pain, but not as bad. I seriously do not know how I will make it until my scheduled c-section 6 weeks from now, because I know it will get worse... OMG
My History: Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010 Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure! 1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.
I feel ya! I couldn't even be in a sitting position yesterday. I tried to drive to the grocery store, when over a speed bump, and turned back around. The only way my stomach and crotch weren't in pain was when I laid in bed. But today has been much better, so go figure.

This just happened to me last night. Came on suddenly after driving home although I think I physically overdid it yesterday...painful to walk, climb stairs and lift/stand on one leg. Pain radiates to my back a bit and I have some rectal pressure. Still here today, difficult to sit and stand so I'm trying to lie on my side and hoping it gets better. It is very uncomfortable! From what I've read it sounds like symphysis pubic dysfunction. Or maybe it's just the weight of the baby or her position...either way hoping this won't be constant for another 9 weeks!
I have had the same thing on and off since about 22 weeks. There was a point when it was so bad I had terrified myself that baby was coming super early. There's so many chbages happening in your body and so much pressure on your pelvic region that it can kill!!! Hope it gets better
Not that I am happy we are having this pain, but glad it isn't just me!

Saw my doctor today and she said my baby is head down and low and more to the right so she thinks baby is pressing on the right genitofemoral nerve. Matches all my symptoms. And baby is face up which explains the rectal pressure. The pain from the nerve can come on suddenly and then dissipate based on baby's position!
