breastfeeding after a c section

Hey mommy I'm having a c section but I'm really wanting to breastfeed. Anybody have and advise??

    As soon as you are in recovery ask to breastfeed. I had a C with my son and as soon as we were in a room I nursed. My son had no issues latching and nursing.

    Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. That's what the nurses and lactation consultants are there for!

    had a c-sec and nursed him when they brought him to me after the surgery.  we didn't have any issues and hoping for the same this time!

    I nursed dd as soon as a got my hands on her. My milk was a little slow to come in but I exclusively nursed for 14 months! Don't let having a csection scare you, I know plenty if women who didn't have any problems nursing after a section!
