whens the best time

Okay mommy's I'm 35 weeks yesterday and just wondering when the best time to start washing all his stuff??

Re: whens the best time

  • Mine has been done for a long time. You may want to think about getting it all ready. Baby can come at anytime. Good luck!

  • I've had bedding and 0-3 month clothing washed since 32 weeks :) Baby's coming soon!!
  • I had a really long early labor phase last time and wished I had something to occupy my time at home. This time around, I'm saving washing NB and 0-3 month clothes and bedding until early labor. I'm also waiting to pack my hospital bag until then.

I would keep in mind that most pregnancies are different from one another. Just because your first one was long the second could be super quick. Not telling you what to do but I would be prepared just in case.

  • I'm 33 weeks, and thinking about doing it this weekend.

Then I will thank my lucky stars for a quick labor and do some wash when I get home. NBD.
  • I just got a pack and play that I'll be using as a bassinet. That and the car seat/stroller combo are both in the boxes and all the clothes, blankets and linens are still in the packages with tags attached. I might get started on it next week. I'll be 33 weeks on Saturday.
  • I washed all of our LO linens and 0-3 month clothes last weekend when I hit 36 weeks. We also set up the crib. Now we just have to install the car seat, which we will be doing this weekend!
  • All I have left is the carseat and packing a bag. I think at this point it would be best just to get it done! I'll
Only be getting bigger and more tired from here on out. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow.

  • Anything handed down has been washed (car seat, stroller).  Still just at 32 weeks, and my showers are next week, and the week after, so I am really, really trying to wait to do clothes until then, and I haven't bought sheets for the crib since they're on my registry.  I did just get my borrowed bassinet, so I will wash that bedding this weekend, and I plan on washing sheets & clothes right after the showers.  What I need/want for the hospital is in a basket though, so at worst, I'd get someone else to wash them and bring them to the hospital if needed!
  • I washed all clothing, blankets, towels, etc a couple of weeks ago. Mainly because I didn't want to worry about doing anything in the last month, but also because I prefer to have things done ahead of time. My hospital bag is packed and just waiting on the baby's coming home outfit I ordered to come in next week. Our car seat is also installed. We are ready and just playing the waiting game now. :)
