Baby is a patter

My baby girl is 6 1/2 months old. She is sitting by herself and on the verge of crawling. In the past couple of months, I, along with other family members, have noticed that she likes to pat everything. She's very kinesthetic. Has anyone else ever noticed this with their baby? Just curious!

My baby scratches everything. He loves textures. He also bangs and hits everything but I think that's different.

My baby pats and scratches everything! When she's taking a bottle she pats it the whole time.

My son has done this since 3 months. Pats his bottle, slaps the table or couch or any flat surface, and has to touch any face he can reach!

My baby is 6 months and he likes to grab my nose when I'm holding him upright and pinch my arm while nursing. I haven't really noticed any patting. He also like to scratch fabrics with his fingernail.

I want a patter!!! My LO just pinched the crap out of me with his talons. I can't keep them trimmed often enough to not have scabs all over lol. He loves to grab my mouth while nursing and tonight we reached a new high when cut INSIDE my bottom lip from digging those little nails in.
