Feeling frustrated

I had my appointment today @ 39w 2d and I'm only a fingertip dilated and 50% effaced! I feel like I'm never going to have her!!

    I'm 39w 1d and I'm 4cm/70% effaced, but I feel the same way! I've been 3cm since last week. How can I not be in labor yet?!

    Like most of the recent same posts, you can dialate very quickly, it's not a clear indicator of when you'll go into labor.

    Have you asked your doctor if she could induce you with my last child she was born late but with this one I asked my doctor to induce me and my induction date is 20 of April because im only 2 cm dilated and it's fustrating with the Braxton contraction but ask your doctor at 39 weeks you could get induced

    Well a little update for everyone, I woke up with contractions at about 3am and went to the hospital at 8am... I am 2cm and 90% effaced. Baby's heartbeat was acting a little crazy so they have started all of my antibiotics and I won't be going home without my little girl!
