no fetal pole

According to my lmp Feb 18 I am 6 weeks + but when I had ultrasound we saw yolk sac and gestational no fetal pole the midwife told its fine you are so early.you look fine but I am worried had anyone experienced need some positive .

    I haven't personally experienced this but, your still very early. When you hit 8 weeks, they will see everything! Don't stress, your midwife isn't going to tell you, you look fine if you don't. Not in their nature!

    I was 6 weeks and a fetal pole was all that was seen. It didn't end well for me but you are early! Stay positive stress can only make things worse.

    They say that you can date a pregnancy by the length of the fetal pole. You add 6 weeks to the length of the pole. At 6w1d the fetal pole would only measure 1mm if you could even pick it up at all. If you are off by even one day, it could still be too microscopic. A gestational sac and healthy yolk sac are great signs at 6+ weeks.

    My doctor won't even attempt to look that early because chances of not seeing anything are higher than seeing something. I'd say a gestational sac and healthy yolk sac are excellent signs at 6 weeks. Plus your due date/ovulation is +/- 10 days. At 6 weeks that's a huge difference.
