  • It sounds like restless leg syndrome. But I am not a doctor.

  • Yup! Sounds like RLS. I've had restless leg syndrome my entire life and I hate it! Mine feels like someone's tickling my legs from the inside. It makes me an insomniac. RLS also gets worse or presents for the first time during pregnancy. The thing that usually helps me is to do squats and lunges to exhaust my leg muscles. I also sleep with my legs crossed. Hope you find something that helps!
  • Its during the day and I was reading that it isn't restless leg syndrome unless its at night time . And mommy grams I feel you I have been lacking so bad on shaving my legs its just annoying especially with Florida sun helping everything grow and the pregnancy hormones . Gosh guys would never make it being a female going through all this craziness and changes .

@sierranicole1997 I was just being silly because no one had responded to your post. Sorry, I've never dealt with rls, but I can imagine it's not very comfortable.

  • I have RLS too! It's the worst.
  • I get that every night! I wrap a small, fuzzy blanket around my legs (warmth reeeeeeaally helps!) then lay under my usual blanket or put them against DH (he's a space heater). Its super warm but it helps me sleep and the restless legs ease up.

I'm starting to think that I might have RLS after reading these comments.
You know when the cable or whatever goes out and the TV makes that awful sound and the screen goes all black/white and fuzzy? Well that's what the back of my calves feel like whenever I lay down on the couch for awhile or when I try to go to sleep. Its as if I need to stretch them out for it to go away, but it doesn't. My SO tries massaging them out which helps momentarily but not for a long time. I used to be a server and thought it might be from when I was on my legs so much, but since becoming pregnant I've definitely noticed it more.  I hateee it.

That's the perfect way to describe it! I've had it develop in the last week or so, and I feel bad because I fidget so much at night now that DH can't sleep.

    First Time Mommy!

    Due Date: Oct 11th 2015

  • Hairy, my legs are so hairy! Lol, it's too much effort to shave regularly...until summer it's quite a few days inbetween.

I absolutely love this! Mine are the exact same way!!! I swear my hair is growing 3 times faster when I am pregnant!!
  • I've always had RLS before.  Now when I go to bed my legs get super hot!  I would love some sheets that constantly stay cool!  And yes....when I have RLS....it's like I want to jump out of bed and feel the need to have temper tantrum and stomp my legs around.  I just try to get up and walk around for a little bit when I'm having an "episode".  Potassium helps with RLS.
