Good morning ladies. I hope everyone is well today.

I've posted about my sciatic pain before and I think I've mentioned this low abdominal pain before too. Previously, it was mostly right sided and after my responses here and some googling and talking with my OB.. I chalked it up to RLP. But seriously I am in so much pain! I can't take a single step without pain. Every time I move it hurts. Can RLP really hurt this badly? I literally lay in bed at night and I'm tearful because it just hurts so bad! I'm limping around the house like an 80 year old woman!! Worse.. my grandmother is 88 and she's moving around better than I am! My OB suggested a pregnancy support belt which I haven't purchased because even if I hold my belly.. it still hurts. I can't sleep at all. All I do is toss and turn and every single move hurts!!
Re: Should the third pregnancy be THIS painful??
The Chiropractor might acutally help too. Sometimes getting your back and hips and legs in line can actually help the abdominal area too. After I had my second baby I had bad back pain but I also had a lot of abdominal pain. I went to the dr many times because I was very uncomfortable and just didn't feel good. I begged them to check and see if maybe some placenta or something had gotton left behind. (this was like 3, 4 and 5 months postpartum btw). Eventually I was going to the Chiropractor to help my back and once that was better my abdominal pain went away too. SO its worth a try maybe.
unfortunately, pains do get worse with each baby. I used midwifes for my first few children and they always stressed to people to get in as good shape as possible before your next baby. Especially toning the abdominal/core muscles. There are special exercises that help close abdominal seperations and pubic bone seperations. If you will be having more children after this one, definately be strict on core strength before getting pregnant. It can help a lot!
It really helped to lay down tho and just rest! Which I never get to do with two other small kids at home.
My MW told me belts are better if you're on your feet a lot, they aren't comfortable to sit in. And maybe think about prenatal yoga? Relaxation techniques might help w dealing w pain. Hang in there! My hips are already v achy and loose (I'm halfway) w this one, a lot more than w the first two.

As I was walking out, the NP caught me and gave me the name of a chiropractor that she sends her pregnant patients to all the time. She said to call and that it would probably really help. She also told me to try sitting on a big exercise ball at home instead of the couch and that it can help loosen everything up.
All I know is that it hurts like hell. The secretary also told me to try sitting on a donut.. that it helped her a lot.
I hope we both can find something that helps! I do think the heat really helped me a lot but it's not like I have hours on end to lay on the couch with a heating pad like I did yesterday.
