Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. Im Becca, Im an Army wife, mommy to a 4 year old rambunctious little boy (a Nov 2010 baby), and 18 months post op Gastric bypass. I just found out last week that I am 7 weeks pregnant. We were trying, but it came as a surprise because I had gallbladder surgery at the end of Feb, which resulted in complications and a week long hospitalization after. I was apparently pregnant (very early so) in the hospital when I was being pumped full of drugs, pain killers, and underwent 4 different procedures in Radiology. When I was released from the hospitaln I bled for 3 days.. so I assumed it was my period.. but the crazy dark line on the pregnancy test and weeks estimator say differently.
To say Im worried about baby is an understatement. The idiots at the Army hospital dont seem to concerned.. but I suppose theres not much I can do either way. Luckily there is a technical college here that does free sonograms, so I have an appointment at 1045 (which Ill be going to alone.. because my husbands unit didnt think it was important) please pray that there is a heartbeat, and that baby looks seemingly ok.
Heres to a crazy couole months ahead!
Re: Intro and Worries
On top of that I found out that the military hospital didnt do any pregnancy tests before any of my radiology procedures.. and are already passing the blame on the radiology. Saying they should have ordered pregnancy tests..
So now I wait till the 20th.. praying that everything continues to grow...
