Birth control headaches suck...

We're on b/c waiting to start injectables for our 4th IUI cycle -- I haven't taken hormonal b/c in years and YEARS.  They put me on nuvaring so I would have the least amount of side effects (pills and patch make me puke), and I haven't been sick to my stomach but I have had headaches every afternoon that last until about 9 p.m. 

They are AWFUL.  :(  I'm so ready to just get this show on the road and start cycling.  I only wish I was one of the girls who could get pregnant on her own in a month or a few months.  I don't even associate sex with getting pregnant anymore.

Pity party for one, please!

    No one has a party for one. Let me join you :(
    I am sorry you are in pain. How long will you have to take it? Can you call your Dr and ask if you can take any headache meds?

    Ugh .... sorry you are in pain!  I was on bc for one month before my surgery and I couldn't believe how horrible it was!  I remember feeling so much better when I went off of it two years ago, but now going back ... I can't believe I willingly took it for so long!  For me it was the sore bbs and the irritablity.  The pill stinks!!!!!  Hopefully you won't have to be on much longer!

    I got horrible hormone headaches after my first m/c. Advil didn't even come close to touching them. What finally worked for me? Excedrin Migraine! It was like a miracle drug. Try some and I hope it works for you!

    Awww, thanks girl!

    I've got 2 more weeks to go (or if I have heavy breakthrough bleeding before then) -- the nurse is supposed to be asking him what I can take (so far nothing has touched it) and is going to call a script in for me in the morning!
