Being induced at 41 weeks +1 day

Went to my appointment this afternoon Mon Apr 6th... And the dr said they would induce me on Wed Apr 8th ... Never did I expect it to be so soon. They're giving me cervidil (to soften cervix) then next pitocin (to start labor) let that go for a while and if nothing happens try the process again. I am sooooo nervous .. Any advice ?? Anyone else going through the same thing?

I wonder if I can leave after the cervidil or if it'll be a full hospital stay until baby comes.. My minds running .....

    I am 41 weeks today and also being induced Wednesday night. Same procedure you will be going through. I was told that after they insert the cervidil they will give me something to sleep through the night since the cervidil has to be inserted for 12 hours. So most likely you will stay at the hospital to be monitored.
