  • I absolutely LOVE my BumpNest, but I haven't tried any others, so I'm not sure how it would compare.
  • I like the Snoogle. But I'm sure everyone is different. I am used to sleeping on my sides. It provides a little more support for that and there are several positions you can try.
  • I have one that I got off of amazon that I'm not really happy with. Maybe I will be when I'm further along but it hurts my back and neck... its called a "Snoogle". I paid $50 for the thing and prefer a body pillow I paid $10 for at target lol

I prefer my cheapy Target body pillow too!

  • I love my Snoogle because I used to be a total back sleeper. It definitely helps keep me on my side by preventing me from rolling over. However, its huge and is a pain to move around with. My boyfriend hates it haha but a regular body pillow just didn't work for me! Everyone is different though!

  • I have the snoogle and hate it but need it. I also am a back sleeper so its been really hard to sleep on my side.. but the pillow keeps me in place and having the small piece between your legs is sooooo comfortable!! Problem is when you want to roll to your other side. Gotta pick up the massive thing and flip it.
  • I had the Boppy with my first pregnancy, and really liked it. It was flat by the end of my pregnancy, and they changed the pillow I had so I looked around and got the Bump Nest this time. It's super soft and amazing! Totally worth the extra money! A friend of mine had a snoogle and hated it, so I didn't really look at them.

  • Thanks for starting this thread. I think a body pillow is going to be my next purchase
  • To be honest, I have a maternity-specific body pillow from my first pregnancy, and it's nice to have...HOWEVER, I don't think it is anything that a normal body pillow isn't. If I had the money in my pocket again, I would just got a normal body pillow. The key is to have something between your hips/thighs, knees, and maybe ankles. If you roll around like I do, some of the maternity pillows are too bulky to be functional all night. Near the end of pregnancy, I needed approximately 1 billion different pillows pushed in around me to be comfortable (I think my dislocated rib had something to do with that), and the maternity pillow was only one of them. Try a couple of your pillows in different arrangements first!

  • I have a snoogle pillow but have not been using it. I'm a belly sleeper and can still sleep that way. see how long this lasts then I will bring the snoogle in to bed
  • I've always just used an extra large pillow...I could never justify spending $50 on a pillow.

  • I got the full front and back pillow and i love it beyond words. I dont know how i slept without it..oh yeah i couldnt. Its awesome. There is so much you can do with it. Can't say enough about it. My hubby even uses it.
  • I ordered a bump best that should be here Friday!! It had good reviews!!
  • I bought a snoogle because I'm a stomach sleeper and I wanted something that would kick that habit. I no longer belly sleep and the snoogle helps me sleep n the side. Sometimes I end up on my back instead. Like someone else said the snoogle is hard to flip over in the middle of the night especially with blankets on you. It's nice to have though.
  • I made a thread about how much I love my Snoogle a few weeks ago. It all comes down to personal preference though!
  • I got a great fuzzy pillow from Marshall's and I absolutely love it. It's super soft. I'll try to get the brand and elaborate.
  • Yes love my target body pillow too B-)
  • I bought one on Amazon and I love it. My husband doesn't like it but he's a snuggler. I've been having hip pains already and it helps a lot.
  • I bought the J pillow snoogle. Definitely do not recommend it if you are a tummy or back sleeper. I'm finding it super uncomfy to sleep on my side with it and having no back support. And the leg cramps! Ugh. I'm ditching my j pillow for a u shape one.

Im a tummy sleeper and i love this pillow! Definitely comes down to personal preference i suppose :p

  • Did anyone find that the snoogle or u shaped pillow took up a lot of room in bed?  That is what I'm afraid of!  I like to sleep on my side but am at a point I feel like I need a body pillow so that I can make my leg higher up....if that makes sense.  I tried using a regular pillow last night but was annoying when I wanted to switch sides and tried moving it under the sheets without disturbing my husband.  I could see with the u shaped one you wouldn't have to worry about that.  But again I'm just afraid of the size with a queen size bed.

  • I love my snoogle and have used it for years! My husband used to hate it cause it was a huge barrier between us but I figured out a way to make everyone happy. I line up the long side of the pillow with the outside of the bed. Then during the night instead of flipping the pillow I just roll over inside the pillow. I still have one regular pillow under my head and hug one to my stomach, but man it is way easier to roll when everything else stays in place and you only have to move one pillow! Also when I'm ready to get up in the morning I just push the long end off the bed and get up.

Have you tried flipping it? If the long part is behind your back with your neck supported and legs wrapped... it definitely gives lots of support!

I just bought a snoogle and it is okay. I don't like it when I want to switch from side to side. However, my dog LOVES it haha.
  • Love my snoogle!
  • I've had my snoogle for about 2 weeks and I love it! I was a little unsure I've tried a body pillow and I'm a stomach sleeper but it helps me sleep so much better. I fall asleep quick and sleep well all night! Best purchase!
